It's hard not to be excited and filled with anticipation on this one!!!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, somewhere around 50 teens, along with 14 adults, are going to West Virginia for a youth camp.
This property is owned by a friend who is still on his journey to a personal relationship with God through Jesus. It has been great to watch how he watches and responds! He has been very generous and helpful and the kids love him. He loves the kids too!
Pray for him that he would trust Jesus very soon.
His property is on the Potomac River in the mountains. It is beautiful and secluded. The students will be without cell phones and other devices for nearly five days! They will live outdoors in tents and will "rough" it. They will have lots of physical activities. They will hear the Word of God from three different people. They will be ministered to one on one as well.
Pray for the students, the adults ministering to them, and the host. Pray that God will move mightily in their midst.
I remember the youth camp I attended as a young teen. It was such fun and it was life impacting. That was over 35 years ago.
Now we have the opportunity to impact other young lives! Do you see why I am so excited?!!!
