I debated using the word, not wanting to overstate the case.
Super-charge your spiritual growth! God uses many things to grow us to be more like His Son, Jesus... the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, good and bad life experiences, the community of fellow believers, and more.
I want to urge you to participate in two upcoming things that, if you take full advantage of them, can help to super-charge your spiritual growth!
The first event... this coming week we have our First Wednesday service at LifeBridge. Our guest speaker is Pastor Adam Nathanson, church planter and missionary in Carraccas, Venezuela. He is a seriously committed man of God who has a vision to reach outside the U.S. with the Good News of Jesus.
How it helps you... Anytime we can be exposed to men like this, our vision is enlarged, our heart is sensitized to the heart of Jesus, and we get the chance to literally partner with someone in the great worldwide mission. We partner by becoming a prayer warrior for them, praying specifically because we are informed. We grow when that happens. Our heart is more tenderized to those around us by experiences like that as well.
The second event... All four Sundays in July I am doing a sermon series entitled, "One Life To Give". God is brewing some truth in me from His Word that is going to change someone's life next month! I can't wait to give it out for those four Sundays.
How it helps you... Each Sunday I will share a principle that, if applied to your life, will change your whole life, drastically! I am not exaggerating! I can't wait to see what happens in some lives who will grab these principles. I already know that some will and some will not. I'm looking for the "some wills"!
God's truth, when diligently applied, will definitely super-charge your spiritual growth! It's up to you to put yourself in the position to be exposed to it. Again, I urge you to be there for all five services!!!
"but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." II Peter 3:18
