More first time guests... Two examples that I am aware of... one lady spoke with me after service today and was very excited about being there for her first time, saying she would be back. One of our men had a teenage niece attend church today for the first time since she was a baby. She liked it and will be back. (NEXT GENERATION!)
The worship band rose to the occasion! Even though they had a last minute challenge this week that virtually no one knew about, they came through in a pinch and did a great job! Wade's guitar solo for the reflection song after my sermon was superb! Rachel's voice is outstanding and she was definitely taking us into God's presence with the songs.
I sensed that the people were soaking in God's Word today... We all want to live our one life to the fullest. The principle I shared today, you reap what you sow, is a powerful one. God wants us to release the "seed" He gives us, the resources He puts in our lives. We do that when we serve and give. When that happens, a harvest is ALWAYS produced! It may take some time to reap it, but it comes. Galatians 6:7-9 is a powerful reminder and an encouragement to keep on sowing, even when it seems nothing is happening. If you missed today or want to hear it again, go to our website later this week. The sermon and notes will be posted there.
Tomorrow on this site... a "survey"that I hope a bunch of you will be a part of... all for fun! I will post some questions and ask you to hit the comment button and give your answers. We can all read each others' opinions. Some questions will be silly, others a little more serious, but all in good taste and for enjoyment! Tune in!!!
