Those of you who responded to that post with your wish... I am blessed and encouraged by your wishes!!! Thanks for sharing!
If I had just one wish for my family...
It could be one of the following...
For health and happiness... for healing for my daughter, Amber's epilepsy and other ailments in the family, or...
For good jobs, financial security, and all they desire in life, or...
To have them all close by, giving Robyn and me lots of grandchildren to enjoy, or...
To be well connected citizens, making a significant impact in the community, BUT...
None of them are my one wish!!! All of the above I would gladly give my family if it were in my power, but not before my one wish!
My one wish for my wife and five children... to love the Lord Jesus with all their heart, soul, and mind! If that is true in their lives, all else will fall into place.
That doesn't mean that everything will be perfect or that they will get everything I want for them. It does mean that their priorities will be right and that they will have the right perspective on the events of life, both good and bad. It means that their lives will honor their Creator, no matter where they are or what they do.
I want my legacy to be one of leading my family, by example, in that direction. It will be a life long experience.
Amen and Amen. When I started reading the beginning I was a little confused and will say nervous. Because nothing on this earth matters not fame health, fortune, etc, etc. if our wonderful, Beautiful, Loving Father is not MASTER and KING of our very existence.....:)
