I am pumped about our 24 hour prayer meeting that begins tomorrow at 6 PM! There are lots of people signed up, many of them coming in groups. Most groups are LifeGroups, our small groups at LifeBridge. If you haven't signed up for a time slot, not to worry! Just show up anytime between 6 PM Friday and 6 PM Saturday at our church facility. There will be prayer requests available to help you pray.
I am also eagerly anticipating a Saturday evening dinner for area Pastors and spouses we are hosting here at LifeBridge! We have prayed together for around 6 years. We have a good relationship. We will be relaxing, socializing, and eating together. We are also going to be discussing an exciting new ministry that we all are starting together! More on that later...
Are you praying this week? "Lord, Make Us Unique!" May we be uniquely holy in our behavior! May we be uniquely engaged with the unchurched around us. May we be unique lights in this dark old world! PRAY!!!
P.S. Jogging Update: (If this is boring you, feel free to skip over it!) This morning I jogged 9.6 miles again. That brings the total to 25.6 for the week. Lord willing, I will do another 6.4 in the morning to reach my goal of 32 for the week. If it sounds like I'm bragging, I apologize. I know that I couldn't do this apart from God's provision! It has been a great way for me to stay in decent shape, to relieve stress, and to have time to pray and process. The training for races just started last year as icing on the cake, so to speak. Racing is another motivator and something different in my life. What is different or challenging in your life? What are you doing to accomplish the above three things?
